This is life and death of some sort but not exactly.
Imagine your head being tugged with two ropes from different directions and choice have to be made between which rope to cut, and which direction you want to be dragged in. See, it's about choosing between fighting for a cause you believe in or missing a class you fear on failing. It's not that I actually fear the failing, but this is my last shot at graduating or I'd have to pay for my own tuition. You know my graduation is already three semesters, that's a year and a half, overdue and I've been a freeloader too long [I'm getting tired of it]. And it's fact that programming is not my line, and in a major subject that tackles programming, every meeting is of the essence if you want to pass. For some of my 'more complex' subjects through my years in college, completing the attendance has always gave me that good hope for that magical decimal, 1.00. I still hope to make the cut as Octoberian but doubt is still running through my head.
