I don't know which genre to place it in because there's is no Musical at the selection. Well, nevermind. One word: ROCKS! It makes me want to go to East High and go back to high school. Groovy music, funky moves, equally talented stars (considering they're new... or not. New to the ears since they aren't so popular to me because I've never heard of them before there was HSM.) makes this cable movie a sensation. The movie is about love, friendship, teamwork, conquering your fears, and being true to yourself and following your hearts desires. I've seen the movie twice, premiere and encore telecast, but I never ran tired. It just keeps you coming back for more. Here, you'll see a different Ashley Tisdale from the Maddie we usually see in The Suite Life of Zach and Cody, we'll also discover the enchanting resemblance of Zac Efron to Leonard Whiting when he was his age when he played Romeo in 1968 with Olivia Hussey, the charming Lucas Gabreel struts his stuff also with the pretty Vanessa Anne Hudgens (who according to some look somewhat Filipina). Need I say more? Just watch it! Catch the Sing-Along Special of High School Musical this July 23, where else? Disney Channel lang! Aww.. I hope they can make movies like this here in the Philippines not just love stories with loads of disgusting pagpapa-kiligs and pagpapa-cute. Peace!
