A Hint of Bitterness.

I kept on reading those lines over and over again.
I would have loved it if it was about me.
But it wasn't and it will never be.
I guess it would take a lot more than what I got to be part of your life.
I've gotten over it months ago, and, no, it's not coming back.
I just can't bring myself to accept why it was never me,
Why would it never be me?
