Domesticated

The weather is so fine today. It would have been a great day to go out there to my great outdoors. It's a hot day but I prefer this over freezing myself to death just like yesterday and the days before. Have had some sort of malaise due to unusually cold weather and it almost killed, or atleast it felt like it; I had goose bumps, chills, feverish feeling from inside while freezing from the outside, some said I was pale, got dizzy ~ felt something like hypothermia. I know something was wrong but I didn't know what it is.

So, anyway, I went to Suvasa last Thursday night for a night of good music. I didn't get to finish the show because I wasn't feeling well but I enjoyed what I have seen and heard when I was there. I've seen a few performances but I didn't get to see the DJs. I liked the scrapbook they Ate Heidi was selling but didn't get to buy it 'cause I only had my allowance for that day but I'll ask her about it if I see her in school. Also got to see Shiawase-niichan. It's been a while and he looked few years older but lot fresher than when I last saw him a few months ago. He's been through a lot but it felt great seeing his sweet smile again. I didn't miss him, I don't miss him anymore but he's always be my Shiawase. I've also seen familiar faces and talked to some of them.

I discovered this store where I can buy cheap but quality make up thanks to Issah. New make-up means I'll be shooting vanity photos again in no time.

Right now, as I right this line, the lining/ wall inside my nose hurts and feels like it's going to bleed anytime. Ouch.

I thought there was suppose to be a blue moon last Thursday but I was wrong, or maybe that the same. Not sure. Anyway, it's a Blood Moon or Lunar Eclipse as it is commonly known. Actually it is a Total Lunar Eclipse. Waaah! Sayang. I've never seen an eclipse before. The moon is bright but isn't really visible because it was cloudy. Sayang talaga.

Last night, Friday, the moon was bright again. This time it gave off a ghastly glow and it felt like a gypsy night. I also remembered that jungle beat-like music that Erick and Alvin played at Suvasa.  Wala lang. It was gloomy, weird and wild at the same time.

It was so sweet, those things, hearing it from you. Funny, that I actually fancied it. I liked you before, and if I heard it back then [given the courage and the chance, umamin na ako], it would have made me kilig. I still like you but not the way I liked you  before because you always liked someone else. Hehehe. It's cute but you didn't have to compare yourself to a cockroach. *winks* Rabuuuh! Hehehe.

Okay wala na akong maisip isulat. Ayos. Hahaha.

... thinking ...

Ayun. I hate to admit it but I think Joaquin Bordado's cool. The TV show, I mean. Well, it isn't the best I've seen but the visual effects are great. I have to study digital arts and 3D animation! Waaah~ Baduy. Who cares? I prefer tele-fantasia over dramas.

Okay, I think I don't have anymore classes for the coming weeks but I am not yet free. I still have publication work to do and I'm kinda stuck with *drum rolls so you won't hear the name* for the week. Me labshyoo, Hehehe. I have to finish my business with her before next Saturday. I think we can finish everything since we're going OT. I just have to. Oh no. Hehehe. I was supposed to work with her today but I can't leave the house 'cause it's kind of busy and it's my mom's birthday tomorrow. Saturday is the only day I can leave to go out for an adventure because my most of my adventure teammates are only free during that day and Sunday is like my I'm-the-only-one-here-so-I-have-no-choice-but-to-get-stuck-here day at the house. I wish they have as much free time as I have so I can call them to go somewhere whenever I feel like going out. Everybody leaves the house and I'm usually the only one left to attend to the freaking store and the equally freaking customers that buys stuff in there. Grrr..

And, oh, we're having a lecture on Land Navigation this Saturday. Last time, wasn't LandNav but Leave No Trace Outdoor Ethics and Ropemanship.

Where will our next destination be? Hmm.. The dates for the Pulag climb will only be finalized on Tuesday. But most probably, we'll be having it on the the last week of March or the first week of April. My plan on joining the Puerta Galera trip my friends are planning is in vain since I still haven't saved anything for that. And  I need at least 3k for it. Waaah~ I don't really have anything that valuable and sacrifice-able to sell so I can afford the trip. If I could only get someone to give me that amount for free or if I could get a summer job that will earn me that sum before April. I also want to go to the Mt. Pinatubo Crater Lake, I want to go on more climbing trips, beach trips, diving, caving, safari, exploration, anything outdoor, anywhere. Kamown, let's go! Moss is my weed and I miss the smell of mossy forests. I have to have moss. Moooooooooss!

Siyeeeht! Ang sakit pa rin ng ilong ko.

I still have 3 squares of chocolate left. Waaah! Dunno when I'm having them again. They're sold locally but I'm too lazy to go and buy them and I have to save up for the reasons I've stated ^ above ^. Hehehe.

Anu na? Hehehe. Isip ulit...

Ayun, I remembered what other factors must have added to the malaise I've experienced the last few days. See, I've been cooking my eyes in computer radiation and killing my immune system by staying up till morning for two consecutive weeks for some stupid school stuffs that's supposed to be a group work but I did alone, and then having to share it with them again. What the heck?! And I thought I was a freeloading leech. There's always someone worse. Anyway, I hope we all get what we deserve. tO___ot < eto kayo!

And in case you don't know or you've just forgotten, kayo ang nagturo sa akin na maging ganito. Yan tuloy, bitterness na naman ang nai-post ko. Hahahaha.

Okay, mahaba na. Next time ulit. Back to work!

Is it Saturday yet?

To the Rockies! Weeeeeeeh~

I'm not telling where I'll be but if you want to come, you may, just tell me. Hehehe. Can't wait. Can't stop me unless you're typhoon and you're headed to where I'm going. *grin*

Two more days and the exams are over; I will finally be free. Bwahaha! I had to do some hocus-pocus last week to obtain the keys that will open the doors to my freedom. Hahaha. It's wholesome. Trust me. A little lie, but no forgeries involved. *winks*

Tomorrow, I have this supposed "endeavor", a date with destiny. It's quite big and if it pushes through, I just might realize a dream. I haven't yet decided. Not that I don't believe I can do it but it just doesn't feel like the right time yet. I'm finally waking up and seeing this sword on the stone, I want to pull it up and unveil my destiny but it things feel like it's going too fast again. I have to run at the pace that it makes me run to and if I don't watch my steps, I might fall. I still have a few hours to come to a decision whether today is the right time to take this big step. I have my friends' support and I share the same dream with some of them but I don't want to impulsive in this particular situation. I don't want another failure breaking me into several million pieces again. Picking myself up would take time and the smallest shards can't really be taken back into place and I don't need new wounds to add up to the hurt I feel from time to time. Good luck na lang sa amin, bahala na.

Okay, so I'm spending on my sport, my hobby. It's not a normal sport and it can eat up a fair amount of cash but that doesn't make me rich. I've been hearing people say that the sport is only for rich people and I am "rich" that's why I can afford the luxury of doing the sport. I had to do sacrifices, you see. The time that I only have to ask the money I need for my adventures doesn't come often. I save on them even if it meant skipping a meal or thrifting on it. You see, I'm a taker not a beggar. And I don't like hearing bad things about me when I'm doing what I love so I fund most of my trips and they are my passion, and not a thing in the world, not even poverty can keep me away.

Ano, ayos ba?

I'm staying for one more semester. I can take the freaking back subject this summer but I won't 'cause I want to make a lot of this summer. I don't know how I will be able to afford it but there are lots of places I want to go to, and I will, even if it means having to sell my phone. Hahahaha. I'm dead serious. There are still a lot that I haven't done and have to do, and something's telling me I have to stay. I have this blind hope, and not losing it anytime soon, that he'd still be coming back and I'd see him again. There is a purpose for everything, and things happened for this reason just like our major climb being postponed so I can go watch Gary V. I'll stay here and he'll find me [or maybe it's the other way around, I stay here and I'll find him].

Now, I totally deserve the title Prisoner of Eternity. I have been here longer than I have to, like an Undying that has known of death and brought it to people but has not seen it. So many seasons passed me by. I've seen countless sunrise and sunset, kingdoms and buildings rise and fall, people come and go but I'm still here. I seem like an immortal aimlessly wandering this void called Earth because Life just wouldn't leave my ageless body.

O, di ba, period drama ang drama? Hehe

Dunno how I should close this entry so I'll just ask: What haircut do you think will look good on me? And I'm planning to dye my hair again but I haven't decided if I should just redo my highlights or dye my hair completely. And, oh, I'm planning to get my ears pierced and wear earring again. Tell me, tell me.

Muling Pagkabuhay

It's so nice to be back. *kumakanta ng And I fee-heel like I just got home, and I feeeel...* Ritter, anyone?

Paglalagom

mahina.

ilang araw nang nakatunganga.
walang magawa.
kawawa.

di mapanindigan.
isang talunan.
walang makatulong.

di makalaya.
sakdal-siil ang diwa.
walang direksyon.
komosyon.

umuulan na.

bumabalik na ang luha.
magpaanod.

magpadala.
agos ng alaala.

dilim.
lagim.
karamdamang malubha.

tarakan ng kutsilyo.
matatapos din ito.

Rocking Flat Rocks, Team Chopsuey Style

UPLB/ Flat Rocks
February 16, 2008
Post-Valentine Nature Trip
Mt. Makiling Forest Reserve, Los BaƱos, Laguna

Me, Issah and her friend "Bords", Joycen, Raymond, Erick

Okay, so we were supposed to go to Mudspring which is still a few kilometers away up from Flat Rocks but we came late [one factor is that when some of us came later than the assembly time, hehe, myself included]. Apparently, they have this visitation cut-off time of 1pm for Mudspring visitors. The forest officers suggested that we go to Flat Rocks instead and explore the place and other points of interest in the reserve. What excited me about this is when he mentioned something about raptors [large birds of prey] 'cause I love animals. We were all disappointed but it's better than spoiling the trip, I even jokingly asked what the place looked like-- if it was filled with rocks that are flat. When we reached the turning point, we were so tempted to break the rules and risk being banned from the place but we didn't, just took a picture of the signage and went on with our trek to FR. A few meters away, we could already hear the sound of rushing water and happy voices. When we got there, it was surprisingly spectacular. The giant rock formations was unbelievable. The gushing water was so soothing. And so, we explored. Went rock climbing, and almost got to the highest point [Mond and I was the only one who went up to the higher rocks]. There are still higher rocks to climb but Erick already called out to go. It was time to go because they're closing the reserve by 4pm. It was fun and we're definitely coming back and try the Mudspring mud pack. Sugoi!

More photos from Issah and Erick.

Sa mga sumama at di nakasama: new adventure next week. See y'all!!!

Back and ALL mine.

Yes. Definitely back and looking oh-so good as it has always been.
