Stuck in Twelve-tide, Third to the Seventh Day of Christmas

26th December, Wednesday
I started on some of the things that I should have started a few weeks ago. Finally had the will to fight the urge to slack off. Don't really remember much of what happened that day but what I cannot forget is that I missed an episode of Born to be Wild because of a sudden, unannounced power interruption. Huwaaah~ Garduch-samaaa!!! I didn't really mind having to eat a candlelit dinner, and I was wishing, praying hard that the current will be back in time for the show but... But... Oh! Darn, Meralco! Grrr...

27th December, Thursday
(...) Ellipses. Tuldok. Tuldok. Tuldok. 'Di ko maalala. The end. Hehehe.

Oh, yeah. Suddenly felt like hiking. I asked some of my friends if they want to join me. I want to do some physical activities this Christmas break [nainggit ako sa ibang tao jan, hehe] and I've been wanting to climb Batulao since sem break. Hahaha. The plans aren't polished yet but, yeah, we are definitely climbing Batulao! I wanted to join the make-up climb but it would be less expensive than joining them though I still might join the make-up climb. Hehehe

Got an invitation to a friend's birthday party, and bored as I am, I would never miss out on an opportunity to party with my friends. It was of short notice, but, hey, I have nothing to do so I decided to go. Partyaaay!!!

28th December, Friday
Been having sleeping problems since the Christmas break started, so I woke up late in the afternoon. Fixed myself right away and went to meet my friends for the party. I was so much looking forward to going to this party knowing someone I've been wanting to see lives within the area where we're going. I wanted to belive that the place is calling me, wishing he'll only be a few blocks away and somehow, he'd feel my presence and go to see me there. But that's just too weird to actually happen. Anyway, so, yeah, I met up with my friends and most of them were actually late because they went to play CoD.

So we got to the place. Ayos, ang daming pagkain. My fave was the chopsuey with very fresh veggies and the lumpiang shanghai. Yum! And there was everybody's all-time favorite, videoke! Hehehe. Loved the two-layer cake too, pineapple chiffon and, my favorite flavor, mocha. Everything was so good except for one of the dishes that tasted weird. Hehehe. Me and a friend thought that there was something neither fishy, porky, beefy, nor chicken-y about it. We were thinking... Hehehe, nevermind. Must be the way it was cooked or at least we'd like to think it that way. Anyway, so we sang the night away. We ate, we sang, we ate again, we played Patintero like little kids, we shared jokes, ate some more, sang again. We stayed up till morning of the next day.

29th December, Saturday
It was a sleepover without the 'sleep' part. Some of us strolled while the others watched Code Geass. When we got back, we ate some more, we started noticing that the moon was forming a big arc around it.  We called the others to see it too. It was becoming more and more visible as the night [or day, since it's past midnight]. The sky is clear, and the moon was so bright, the stars were too. I wished, again, that I had an SLR. We brought out a sheet to lie on and watched the moon and stars. Yosh, I imagined this scene more dreamy and even romantic, if only HE was there, and we were above the mountain, under the stars, Awww... Dreamy-eyed child being TOO dreamy again. So there, everyone was wide awake, not a blink of sleep. We talked about our own theories on the 'halo': 1) the ozone layer has opened, and the end has come, 2) it is a portal in which a Kuuma gunship will penetrate and start invading earth, 3) the moon is starting to form its own icering like that of Saturn and other planets, 4) it is a blackhole, and it going to suck us all in 5) it is a window to another world, and aliens are going to suck us in, 6) it is an aura borealis in Asia?, 7) A new galaxy is forming, and lots more stuff. Yes, we all came up with weird-enough-to-be-funny conclusions on how that ring came to be. After stargazing, and the others, playing PlayStation, we went to the playground and talked about more stuffs, theories, and philosophies. We went back to the house and raided the kitchen, and made something up for breakfast. I ate cake. Hehehe. The others are still playing PS. Very few had a chance to doze off a little, but most of us were very up and very much alive. Had this mini-meeting about G-Ken while the others were still glued to PS. A few more games and then we're off. We were each given freebies since it was a debut we went to. Then we went to another friend's house and stayed for a while. Still no neither blink nor wink of sleep but up and almost-still alive, with the thoughts of seeing him again still wide awake inside my head. Then we went to 7/11 for breakfast then Migueebytes for a game of CoD and DotA. Till we finally went home with circles under our eyes and happiness in our hearts and sleepiness in our heads, hehehe.

Got home at about 5pm. I was away and awake for more than 24 hours. I took a bath, got dressed, brushed my teeth, and then slept right away. Woke up 9pm. Ate dinner and stayed for a few more hours. Got the details for the hike and I am very excited. I started writing this post until it was 3am again and I didn't finish so I decided to call it a night and continue writing the next day.

By the way, I'd like you all to meet Leonidas, my dæmon. See that flash animation below, that's him. If you wanna know more about dæmons, read His Dark Materials [The Golden Compass/ Northern Lights, The Subtle Knife, The Amber Spyglass] by Philip Pullman, watch The Golden Compass or just go to goldencompassonline.com. Hehehe Cool, neh?

30th December, Sunday
I woke up a few hours past noon. Finally had the sleep I missed for a day. Still have my trademark under-eye circles but I look better now than last night. Not sure I remember what I ate for lunch or dinner, after that I watched tv, did a little vocalizing, took a bath then went back to sleep. Got a message from a friend informing us that the phenomenon we've witnessed the other night is called 'moon halo'.

I woke up at 11pm and made something for late night dinner or midnight snack? Watched Strong Words. Went online to continue writing this entry and search for more information and pictures on moon phenomenas. Had conference with friends about our Post-New Year trip. Up to this hour, I am still writing this post. Haaay...

So it's morning again, and it the 31st of December, Monday. A few more hours and it will be 2008. My brother still hasn't come home since he went somewhere a few weeks ago. The boy has issues and... Uhh! Never mind! He's old enough to know what's good for him. Anyway, I did this little Friendster thingy out of boredom and it turned out, well, quite amusing. Here are the results:
1 7 - my lucky number
2 5 - no. of people I like
3 **** **** - the one I love
4 **** - person I care most of
5 **** - person who knows me very well
6 **** - my lucky star?
7 ****** - person I like but relationship cannot work
8 Downpour - song for person no. 3
9 Somewhere - song for person no. 7
10 Memories - song that most tell about my mind
11 Inconsolable - song that tell how i feel about life

Gazing at the skies was quite an experience. It made me think of a lot of things, a lot more things than I usually think of. Like things I do, places I want to go to, places I want to go back to, that person I care about, those kind of stuffs. Everything's vague actually. I mean, I like this person but I was thinking if it's finally time to let go of the hopes that I'll ever see him again or that we'll even be together, plans after graduation, will I even graduate, things I wanna buy for myself, stuffs I wanna do in life. Those things... Can't really think straight when i talk about these kind of things. I was also thinking of ways on how I can raise the fund I need for my major climb this January [Pulag, beybeh!] and buying the gears and equipments I need. Oh, man! Now I need a job! Hahaha.

Oops, long post. Hehehe.

A Good morning and a Happy New Year, everyone!

Twelve-tide, On the Second Day of Christmas

So, a day's past. Christmas is over and it's not like I even felt it come, just knew it had already gone. Period.

Okay, it's way past bedtime, not for me though. The day's just getting started. The mosquitoes are too. Anyway...  Productivity is so much of a problem these days. I just might die of boredom. I'm so stuck here at home, and I wanna go somewhere, do something. Climb maybe? Anywhere. Anytime. Anything. I wanted to watch a movie but I'm thinking of something else. I mean, cause and effect; if I go watch a movie blah-blah-blah.. You know, those things. I should be doing something but I can't get started. Projects, concepts, artworks, designs, fixing my room and my closet. All I'm actually doing is snoozing the holidays away. I'm bored with being bored. I want to try not being bored. I so lack inspiration, and I so lack the appetite to work on something. Hahaha, excuses! I'm just lazy. That's just it.

I had an unlikely conversation with an unlikely person. It was actually a witful conversation, at three in the morning, and it jumped from one topic to another, till it ended to the topic of Muppets and puppets. Hahaha. Thank you very much, nawindang ako sa daming facts. Hehehe

Finances, baby! I'm so broke and I have lots of expenses, not part of the family budget to worry about. Fucked up school projects, huwaaah~ Pulag, I don't even have my own backpack yet. I want to and I will invest on my gears and gadgets in time but not just yet. I don't always have money when I need it, and when I have some, it's not always enough. I'm afraid  will have to ask money to pour down from heaven. Hahaha. Love will find a way.. Hahaha. Goodluck sa akin.  Ugh...

It's almost New Year, time for Chinese Horoscopes and Forecasts again!!! I am actually reading one as I write this line. And because I have ran out of idea of what to write, I'll post what I'm reading instead. Check n'yo na lang, antok na 'ko eh. Just scroll down, beybeh!

Twelve-tide, On the First Day of Christmas

Before anything else, Merry Christmas!

So...

Okay, believe it or not, I went to hear mass this morning and yesterday morning. Before that, the last time I heard mass was when we had our retreat last June. Even before that, the last time I went to church was two to three years ago when I still had REED class. I know what others think but who cares. Anyway, so, I've seen very familiar scenes from masses from years ago; children running around, couples cuddling, teenagers talking instead of listening, adults, you know, things like that. Nothing new, aside from the tunes of some of the church songs. Actually, I wouldn't have gone if my friends didn't come with me. Even the church is too lonely when you're alone and I can pray without having to go to church. The feeling of being back in the church again wasn't any different from any other day. Maybe because my faith has turned towards a different direction, different from others, you may not understand. =)

We had cheeseburger for breakfast this morning after mass, and, man, that burger was soooo good. And I enjoyed walking along Nueno Avenue at five in the morning from the cathedral. I don't know, today's been such a sweet morning because I'm having "weird thoughts" again. Possibilities are endless. I'm having weird ideas of "possibilities". Those ideas are giving me me weird thoughts again. Erase. Erase. Erase. Hahaha.

Tried ukay-ukay for the first time today. My brothers love buying from them and I thought I'd try it too. It felt weird and uncomfortable but I found very good stuffs though I didn't get to buy them all. I saved a few hundred bucks. They were better finds than those at the mall where there are lots of skinny jeans, three-fourth shorts, skinny jeans, skirts, and more skinny jeans. You don't really expect me to wear skinny jeans, now do you?

Plans fail. A perfect example was last week's performance and party. I sang Houkiboshi at the University Christmas Party (morning) but, you see, I forgot the lyrics, I can't hear my voice very well, and I wasn't in synch with the music and I slipped as I was going down the stairs. Oh. The. Shame. Later in the evening, we our DMS Christmas party. The party didn't go as planned. Hehehe. I. Am. Sorry. *hik-hik* The food was good [I loved that mushroom quesadilla and mojos] but I had too much vegetable from the party, I got sick. I was already sick that day since morning, my head felt like splitting and having no meat and rice that night, made it worse. I threw up everything when I got home. And there are times that I really crave meat, and cannot eat anything without it. I hope I'm not offending anyone with being a true-blooded carnivore. To all the meats I ate before, I am so sorry that God made you very delicious and I can't live without you. *remembers Romaiya-sempai from Honey and Clover*

Here I go again. It's hopeless but I'm still hoping. [Umaasa kahit na wala nang pag-asa] For what? That I'd see him again. I can't shake him off my head. He has clung into my mind like some gooey, sticky matter.  Uhh, okay, I just miss him. Memories keep him near, and those memories haunt me. Why does seeing him and talking to him again seem too much too ask? I still can't let go of the idea that there must have been really "something" between us that is "naudlot" or just waiting for a chance. Awww... Bakit gano'n?

Okay, it's already New Year, next week. A lot to be expected and looked forward for; Prelim exam for VB, lots of HF work [layouting], start of working on school projects for the Finals, and I have to do something about my Physics class, G-Ken, Exit interview at the Guidance office, CosPlay? Make-up climb, and my most awaited event for 2008-- Induction climb at Mt. Pulag, and lots more other stuffs that has to be done. I don't really have a clear direction right now, as usual, but, uhh, well, bahala na.

Bwahaha! World peace. 'LUL!!!

Hindi ako manghihingi ng regalo kasi baka hingian nyo rin ako. Hahaha. Nood tayo Enteng Kabisote? KKB ah!

So, it's Christmas. Now what?

Photos from Anna's camera

~Went to the University party in the morning to perform for Genshiken. It was kinda disastrous (forgetting the lyrics, and not in synch with the music) and I even slipped as I was going down from the stage. Good thing my friends were there. It wasn't too embarrassing. I almost didn't make it to that party because I was feeling sick. Ate carbonara and chicken at the party. After the party I went to greet the HF people Merry Christmas and then joined the meeting for G-Ken. After the meeting, I went to buy my exchange gift then had it wrapped, ate my very late (about 6 or 7 in the evening) lunch at KFC, went to the venue then we fixed the place, went to Wlatermart to buy some ore stuffs for the party, put decorations while the others were busy in the kitchen. Then the party went on. So, it didn't quite turned out as planned but I believe everybody enjoyed. I was suposed to wear my haciendera costume but I just didn't have time to fix so I went without a costume but I brough a hat, just to say I had something Mexican. It was confirmed to us that were going to Pulag for the Induction climb. Not sure about the makeup climb though. There was supposed to be a short pre-climb meeting last night but everybody's so busy. Anyway... I wanted to stay longer but I wasn't feeling very well since morning. My head felt like it was going to split into halves. Probably because I haven't had a decent sleep yet and I ate lunch late. I threw up when I got home, as if I was really drunk, when actually all I drank was a glass of water for breakfast, a bottle of coke during the univ party, a glass of mountain dew at KFC, and a few glasses of water during the Christmas party, but, oh, I had a sip of Tequila (not sure if that was actually the Tequie). The food was good, everything. I got a towel for exchange gift. I had a lot of fun and I am looking forward to more parties and celebrations with you guys. Merry Christmas, DMS!!!

Downpour

It's hard to just stop when you're spinning around.

I have been trying my best the past few days trying to put back together my cluttered brains. It's all over the place. I've been wanting to put my thoughts together and come up with something to write but to no avail. As much as I wanted to stay in one place, I am kind of stranded in a dimension, surrounded by doors that lead to several different worlds. The feeling's like being suspended in midair. I wanted to land, but my feet just won't reach the ground. Let's see what I can get out of this...

* regress * regress *

A thousand more regrets, unraveling

Today, I felt like I'm heading for a breakdown. I was in my usual state wherein a lot is going on inside my head but today's suffocation is more felt than it has ever been feel-able. I was getting choked by my own hands. Days pass and all the more I realize the truth that I've known for the longest time. 1) The people you expect to, cannot always, will not always, and may not at all do for you what you know you can do for them; it's always man for himself. No matter how much resentment you let yourself feel cannot change anything. You are left with no option but take them down with you. Hehehe. And maybe, I will. I just might. Hahaha. 2) Weaklings are always at the bottom of the foodchain. They cannot survive without having to leech on others. And leeching does not always mean having to suck blood. And it seems to be the only way around. But you can't really expect me to beg for your "mercy", not even if my "life" depended on it. I'd rather stay stuck and do everything all over again, even if it meant having to start from scratch. 3) Some people are just too dumb to realize these things.

The flavor of life: a hint of bitterness

Finally saw him again, but only in my dream. I walk up on a lovely Tuesday from a dream of him. I have no memory of the dream but I know it was a good dream or I wouldn't have woken up with a good mood. I was finally able to reach him if only in my head. I've been thinking of him a lot. It's been a more than a month since I last saw him. I feel hopeless as it seems I woke up late again. It's only now that I started to understand the signs, the gestures, the words, everything. But he's gone and chances are, I may not see him ever again. Actually, I have no idea if it's only me or what I think exists between us is real but I'm so ready to make that big step. To think I've done it all before; I've crossed the bridge for someone who rejected me and used friendship as an excuse, stayed by someone's side who seem to have not even noticed I, once, cared for him (fell for one after the other but never for me), and fallen for several others from different times in my life and... Blah-blah. Nevermind. All I want to say is that I just want him to know that I like him a lot, and I miss him badly. All the moments we lost due to inevitable circumstances, the missed chances, all the must-have-beens and could-have-beens... Makita at makausap ko lang sya ulit, sasabihin ko talaga sa kanya. Huwaaah! Sino ba sa inyo may contact kay... Kawaii-ness ko!!! For a moment, nabuhayan ako ng loob ng makita ko yung isa sa iilang taong closest link ko sa kanya. Pero... Aww...

I know you'll always be with me, in the possibility

Our trash may be somebody else's treasure. Same as what is ordinary to us may be something big and important to other people. My point is...? Kamown, think about it.

You're not hardcore unless you live outdoor

Astig talaga ang Born to be Wild. Hahaha.

Somehow, trying to catch up on everything especially when everybody else has left me behind

Speaking of passion... Nyahaha! Hehe, wala lang. Masaya. So far, Cristobal's been the best climb I've ever had. May kulang kasi mas maraming "sweet memories" sa Pico de Loro, maliban sa gulungan portions namin dun. Hehehe. Set back: I was not prepared for the temperature. Mga 17 degrees Celsius ata or less. Fotek. I literally had brain freeze. We were having talks/ discussion and I couldn't concentrate. My conscious mind was split into several halves. One was into listening into the discussion, one was trying to fight the cold, one was thinking how comfortable it would have been if I just stayed at home, one has finally learned to appreciate the hot weather in the big city. Hirap ng tropical person. Hehehe. I was thankful that it didn't rain though it was really foggy. I love the high winds at the peak and how we would cheer whenever there would be clearing because it was hazy when we went up the summit to take pictures and you can't see the city below. Check na lang th pictures HERE. Basta, it's been fun and I'm only one step further from Induction. Ahaha. Sugoi.

Memories keep you near, Imagined you'd be here

I've been watch Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity  Edition 2, and kinda hooked. One thing, it's entertaining for some inexplicable reason and another, Baron Geisler. Was never a fan of him, not even, from his teenybopper days. I just find him very cute and he reminds me so much of Kawaii Boy, whom I like a lot and miss so badly. Aww... Wala lang. *Hikbi* Nyaow!

You're the calm when my world is crashing, my, heart, my blood, my passion

I've tried takoyaki for the first time yesterday. Hehehe. Someone's selling them outside school. Not sure if it was a real takoyaki but it tastes really good. Yum. Already seen The Golden Compass, and I believe the book's been given justice. Can't wait for the 2nd and 3rd part, hehehe. I've finished Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows, finally. Hahaha. Still haven't bought that new BSB Album. What happens if you put 3 lovesick people into a conversation with one another? Love Rolls. Hahaha. Saka na and details, hindi ko pa rin maarok eh. Hahaha. The chances of making it into the March 08 is getting slighter by the hour. It isn't really much of a big deal but the people can't seem to wait. They're on the rush, giving me so much pressure. Probably expecting too much but only to be disappointed again. I am trying my best to rise up where I've fallen though it may not seem so to most of you but I am. I may seem to take things lightly but I am, actually, just trying to keep myself from falling apart. Everyday survival is a constant struggle. It may not be big, I, too, am making sacrifices. Christmas is just around the corner, so are Christmas parties which mean having to spend for them and also, projects to be finished. How on earth am I going to save up for Induction, my cosplay and my projects? Huwaaah!? I am planning some change of plans but I still haven't made up my mind. I have other time for that. For now, quizzes and exams muna. May nagsasabi mga nagsasabi nga palang I'm losing weight. Hahaha. Gambare masu!

I can see the edge but I can't take the fall

This is Halloween

Boys and girls of every age, wouldn't you like to see something strange?
Come with us and you will see this, our town of Halloween.

This is Halloween, pumpkins scream in the dead of night
This is Halloween, everybody make a scene
Trick or treat till the neighbors gonna die of fright
It's our town, everybody scream
In this town of Halloween

L: Picture, di ka naman nakangiti eh.
G: Hay..

Taken last October 29, during HF's Midyear Workshop slash Gawad Abdul slash Halloween Party. Everybody had costumes, so did we. Bwahaha! Just thought this photo's cute, mainly 'cause I'm in it, hehehe, so I posted it. Hehehe

☺ ♥ ♥ ♥ ☻

You never knew, you never promised

But I'd still wait

This hurts so bad but feels so good

Something's telling me I have to stay

'Cause you'd still be coming back

I miss you badly but this pain is all I wanna I feel

Who's gonna save me, I'm already dead

Put me out of my misery

~ AYOS! Ang lamig. You could see the fog roll. The temperature ranged from 17 to 15 degress Celsius. Gripping, biting cold. Sobrang sarap ng tulog ko, nanginginig pa. Hehehe. Maaksyon ang akyatang ito. Mabangin, mabato, madamo. I love the rocky terrain, i love the mossy trees, I love the fog. Hehehe. Wala akong nakitang wildlife maliban sa mga inseckto. Di kami inulan, yeah! Malamig lang talaga. Masakit pa rin ang katawan ko. Walang gumulong though mejo makailang beses din akong nadulas. hehehe. New faces and friends. Woooh! Special thanks kay Ate at Kuya from Kinabuhayan, Quezon. Hehehe. Weird. Onga pala, yung Mik-mik trips at Jjampong! Hahaha! Mga adik. Sayang naman yung mga hindi sumama. Hahaha. Ang dami nyong na-miss. Di bale, Make-up climb tayo! Tapos... Induction! Goodluck sa ating lahat!

Long Way Down

One wrong move, you fall.

~Taken while clinging to the wall trying to cross from one side to the other at a ridge at Mt. Cristobal last Friday, November 30th. Hehehe, it was very dangerous but I had to risk it so I could take a picture. Don't try that at home because you just can't unless you have a ridge at your house. Hahaha. I'll post the pictures from my phone and those from Issah's camera once she uploads it. Yosh!
